Returning home from mineral Waters j find the pretious book you honour me with. J have perus'd it with the pleasure that a Rosucrucian would enjoy in reading the work of an adept. T'is a great comfort to me at the age of eithi two years, to se'e the tolerance openly teach'd in y^r cowntry and the god of all mankind no more pentup in a narrow tract of land. That noble truth was worthy of y^r pen and of y^r tongue.
